Founded in 2018 as a Management Consulting firm specializing in preserving family wealth and the adoption of international best practices in corporate governance. The initial success serving titans of industry and legacy business families in San Pedro Sula, the industrial capital of Honduras, led to the opening of a Law & Accounting Practice focused on streamlining foreign direct investment in Honduras by offering a one stop shop for business set up, regulatory compliance, and strategic tax advise.
By 2020, INERTIA had established itself as the leading legal services provider for investors and enterprises entering Próspera ZEDE, the autonomous charter city on the Caribbean island of Roatán. Grounded in free-market principles, low taxation, digital governance, and U.S. common law, Próspera quickly attracted millions in new investments across diverse industries.
During this period, INERTIA facilitated the city’s expansion, leading its growth from 58 acres to more than 1,000 acres by 2022. That same year, our founding partner, Jorge Constantino Colindres, was appointed by the State of Honduras as Technical Secretary of Próspera ZEDE — the highest executive office within the charter city’s government.

Financial and Digital Assets Service Providers
In 2022, Spanish entrepreneur Danel Calvillo Armendáriz, an expert in blockchain, digital assets, and financial regulation, expanded INERTIA to global markets with the creation of INERTIA Advisory LLC and Motus LLC, firms specializing in investment advisory services for institutions, family offices, and high-net-worth individuals.
From international private placements to launch coffee chain franchises in Madrid, listing a crypto ETF in the Frankfurt Stock Exchange, securing Virtual Asset Service Provider licenses in Spain, and structuring U.S. and offshore investment vehicles, Motus LLC’s leadership in financial services led the firm to play a pivotal role in the development of the Roatán International Fiancial Center.
In 2023, Motus LLC became a licensed by the Roatán Financial Services Authority (RSFA) to provide financial technlogy services including Investment and Credit Advisory, Brokerage and Custody of Financial Instruments.
